Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas is one of their Voyager Class cruise ships. This means that this ship is filled with fantastic venues and things to do. For instance, on board the Adventure there's a Royal Promenade, a huge casino, swimming pools, hot tubs, full-service spa and fitness center, rock-climbing wall, ice-skating rink, three-level performance theater, internet cafe, as well as many bars and lounges (including Jester's, a two-level nightclub, as well as the Schooner Bar, Duck & Dog Pub, and the Viking Crown Lounge).

While on an Adventure of the Seas cruise you'll have the option of having Traditional (assigned) or My Time Dining (an open-seating format, recommended for those looking for a less regimented schedule on their vacation). Among the many dining options available on this ship are the main dining rooms, an Italian specialty restaurant (see below for details), Johnny Rockets 50's-style diner, as well as room service. There's even a Ben & Jerry's on board this ship!

All of the staterooms on board Adventure of the Seas come with a private bathroom, vanity area, hair dryer, closed-circuit TV and phone. Accommodations range in size from 158 to 1,325 square feet, and include interior staterooms (including rooms with a view of the Royal Promenade), ocean views, balconies, junior suites and suites.

Those traveling with children and teens should be happy to hear that Royal Caribbean's Adventure Ocean program is one of the best youth programs at sea. On board Adventure of the Seas is a video arcade, teen disco, as well as play areas for children.

Adventure of the Seas underwent a refurbishment in October 2016, which included updated design and decor, plus a number of new enhancements such as renovations of Boleros Latin lounge and the two-story mini golf course, as well as the addition of Dual Racer water sliders, FlowRider and Splashaway Bay aqua park. Work will also continue on the introduction of Chops Grille specialty restaurant, with an anticipated opening of March 25, 2017.

Ship Highlights

Royal Promenade
Open 24 hours, this is a naturally lighted, four-story mall that's located in the middle of Adventure of the Seas. While walking around this venue you'll almost feel like you're in the downtown area of a quaint town. It's lined with bars and shops, and is certainly one of the most popular places to be on board this ship. There are accommodations, called Promenade Staterooms, that are considered interior staterooms but have have a window with a view of the Royal Promenade.

Casino Royale
Adventure of the Seas has a very large casino on board, featuring a bar and many of the most popular games around. Among the casino games available in Casino Royale are Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Video Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker, and a variety of slot machines.

Studio B
This is a multi-purpose venue on board Adventure of the Seas that's home to both an ice-skating rink (for guests to enjoy, and where there are professional performances on select evenings of your cruise), as well as events that may include cooking demonstrations.

Portofino
For those looking to enjoy a premium dining experience, Adventure of the Seas is home to Portofino, a fantastic Italian specialty restaurant with a great menu and wine list. There is a per person cover charge for anyone that would like to dine at this optional venue.
