Seven Seas Explorer heralds the introduction of one of the most luxurious ships to sail the seas. With their unique brand of all-inclusive luxury, Regent ushers in new standards of sophistication and service to the cruising world on their latest ship, whose inaugural voyage was July 20, 2016.
Weighing in at 54,000 gross tons, and with a passenger capacity of only 750 guests, Explorer boasts the cruising industry's highest space and staff-to-guest ratios. This, combined with designer suites and decadent treatment, promises to take cruisers to new heights of opulence and magnificent experiences they won't soon forget.
Construction of Seven Seas Explorer began July 2014 at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. In conceptualizing the vision of their latest ship, Kunal Kamlani, president of Regent Seven Sea Cruises, emphasized the focus put on conveying classic luxury. Exotic stonework, polished woods, sophisticated lighting and rich fabrics augment the all-suite, all-balcony rooms onboard Seven Seas Explorer. A wide range of gourmet dining options and museum-worthy art collection further underline the posh experience that Regent has to offer onboard their latest ship.
Seven Seas Explorer joins the fleet as Regent's third all-suite, all-balcony ship, with a higher percentage of private balconies than any other cruise line. Suites on this ship range from 301 to 3,100 square feet in size, marking Seven Seas Explorer to be the largest ship in the fleet. With a staff-to-guest ratio of 1 to 1.4, including a butler service in Penthouse categories and higher, guests are guaranteed the highest level of luxury and personal service!
A new specialty restaurant, Chartreuse, debuted with the launch of Seven Seas Explorer! Featuring a design that evokes a chic Parisian fine dining hall, guests can savor gourmet French cuisine, expertly prepared using both classic and modern techniques. |

Entertainment
A variety of performances are put on during each Seven Seas Explorer cruise in the Constellation Theater. This two-tiered venue is designed for a perfect view, no matter where you sit. Paying homage to ornate theaters from Hollywood's golden age, the theater's seating banquettes, ceiling architecture and an intricate entry-way mosaic are all tied together with a subtle swan motif. After a performance, guests can mingle for cocktails in Seven Seas Explorer's Horizon Lounge, as well as enjoy virtuoso performances by resident musicians.
Gourmet Cuisine
Onboard Seven Seas Explorer, guests will find an extensive list of gourmet venues to suit their palate. The Café offers complimentary coffee drinks freshly brewed by Regent's trained baristas, along with sumptuous pastries, sandwiches and homemade cookies. Serving up breakfast and lunch, La Veranda offers regional specialties that reflect the countries you visit on your trip, with dishes presented in a buffet style to display the diversity of the menu. For dinner, enjoy a mouthwatering filet mignon at Prime 7, epicurean French delights at Chartreuse, Continental cuisine at Regent's flagship restaurant Compass Rose, or a variety of classic Italian dishes at Sette Mari! |
