Viking Jupiter will be the sixth vessel to join Viking Ocean Cruises, a new ocean cruise line created by the award-winning Viking River Cruises. Combining many elements that have made Viking River Cruises a world-famous river cruise line, with some elements of a slightly larger ship, has resulted in an exciting new vessel that will explore the world. Debuting in February 2019, Viking Jupiter will spend her inaugural year exploring Europe and the Mediterranean.
All staterooms on board Viking Jupiter feature verandas, allowing guests the opportunity to enjoy the sights and smells of the open ocean during the entire length of their trip. From the veranda category, all the way up to the one Explorer Suite, all accommodations feature some of the finest amenities and best service at sea.
Guests can take advantage of a number of entertainment and dining venues found onboard. For example, you can take part of enrichment activities in the airy, charming Wintergarden. Diners can enjoy multiple options nightly onboard. For relaxation, there's an impressive infinity pool, spacious main pool under a retractable roof, or even a day at the Spa to rejuvenate the body.
Entertainment doesn't end when Viking Jupiter arrives at port, it only just begins. Boasting some of the best shore experiences, Viking Ocean Cruises will allow guests the opportunity to explore interesting areas they may have never thought of on their own. Expert tour guides will show off the best every destination has to offer, and guest lecturers will prep passengers every night for the adventure of tomorrow. |

Ship Highlights
Infinity Pool
On Viking Jupiter guests have their choice of aquatic experience. Guests can wade in an infinity pool at the aft of Deck 7 and get that over the edge experience. Another option is the nearby main pool, which includes a retractable roof that allows for swimming anytime of the year, no matter what the climate outside. The main pool even features a view of a outdoor movie screen, allowing guests to enjoy a cinema under the stars.
Many Dining Choices
For a ship of such size, Viking Jupiter offers a surprising amount of culinary venues. Aside from the main dining room, The Restaurant, guests can also choose to dine in Manfredi's Italian Restaurant, The Chef's Table, The Kitchen Table or The World Cafe, a dining venue that features live cooking stations and al fresco dining.
Cultural Curriculum
One of the main goals on a Viking Jupiter cruise is to provide plenty of cultural enrichment for travelers. Every day begins with an exciting arrival in port followed by an adventurous day filled with shore excursions and guided tours. Once back onboard, guests can continue their journey by enjoying some local cuisine expertly prepared by master chefs. At night, guests can enjoy lectures by local experts covering the next day's destination.
Unmatched Culinary Experiences
On Viking Ocean Cruises guests are allowed the freedom to eat wherever they please. This means that all restaurants and dining rooms onboard are completely free. Whether it be the elegant main dining room or one of the many individual specialty restaurants, guests can eat wherever they desire free of charge. For those seeking a little more "hands-on experience," Viking Ocean Cruises offers guests the option of taking part in onboard culinary classes. Best of all, these classes are free of charge!
